Duties and Responsibilities: Cardiologists are medical doctors who work to prevent, diagnose, and treat diseases of the cardiovascular system; they work with the heart, arteries, and veins. Cardiologists also promote heart health and provide rehabilitation to those who have undergone surgery or treatment for heart ailments.

Salary: $512,000

Education: To become a cardiologist, you must complete a pre-med bachelor’s degree. The program you choose should be heavy in pre-med courses (anatomy, biology, statistics, etc.). Then, you’ll want to seek a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. After you complete your M.D. education, you can move into a 2-year or 3-year cardiology residency

I think I would like to become  one because it looks very interesting and a lot of learning to discover hot to be a cardiologist.
