Eastern Medicine Doctor
Duties and Responsibilities: is a healing system developed in
China more than 2,000 years ago, incorporating therapies that are in some cases
millennia older. One of its guiding principles is to "dispel evil and
support the good." In addition to treating illness, TCM focuses on strengthening
the body's defenses and enhancing its capacity for healing and to maintain
health.
Salary: $75,000-$80,000
 Education: You
will need the equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree to begin a career and start
earning as an acupuncturist in a regionally accredited college or university.
You can major in a subject range as long as you include six hours in your
semester for biochemistry, chemistry or biology, which is a prerequisite for
Master’s program applications. To become certified, you will need to enroll in
a master’s program that the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and
Oriental Medicine has accredited.

Reflection:  I feel like
I would not become one because it doesn’t come to my intention to be something I
wouldn’t know what to do. I also think it not what I am expected to do and I wouldn’t
know how to treat it. What I learned today is that it takes many years to
become an eastern medicine doctor and get payer over 75,000 dollars.
