Basketball

Basketball was invented in 1891 by a person named James Naismith. The first ever basketball game was held in Springfield Massachusetts on March 11, 1892 The game became established fairly quickly, becoming very popular as the 20th century progressed, first in America and then throughout the world. After basketball became established in American colleges, the professional game followed. Basketball ball is different from today because it has better nets than there was before or it looks more better than it was before it has increased on the crowd their shots are different because now we have lay-ups and free throws or 3 pointers as we do today.
